RIBOSOMAL PROTEIN
Ribosomal proteins are included into ribosomes: 2 to 30 molecules of ribosomal proteins become bonded with a ribosomal RNA (rRNA) and form the large and the small subunits of a ribosome. Ribosomal proteins, together with auxiliary factors, ensure enzymic activities, which are necessary for the protein biosynthesis. Their portion in a ribisome makes approximately 40%.
