OXIDASES
Oxidases are a class of ferments of the oxidoreductase family. In all kinds of living cells they catalyze oxidation-reduction reactions, where atmospheric oxygen acts as an acceptor of hydrogen. FAD or FMN act as coenzymes for many oxidases. Oxidases play an important role in catabolism and detoxication of various compounds.
